* West Pittsburg, Pennsylvania

Bay Point, formerly West Pittsburg, is a suburb and census-designated place located in eastern Contra Costa County, California, just west of the city of Pittsburg and northeast over a low range of hills from Concord.

Bay Point was previously known by several names, including Bella Vista and, until 1993, West Pittsburg.

Ambrose Park, given to the residents of West Pittsburg by the Enes family, was annexed by Pittsburg in August 2010.

New Castle Area, or " Ne Ca Hi " as it is called by locals, also serves nearby West Pittsburg.

In 1887, the West Virginia Central and Pittsburg Railway built yards and tracks in Ridgeley.

Butte, with its large-scale mining and smelting operations, was dubbed the Pittsburg of the West.
