As a short, possibly not the best method, I looked up `` Word '' in the Concordance and noted that the Bible claims from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22 to be God's personal message to man.

Irenaeus identified the Antichrist, another name of the apostate Man of Sin, with Daniel's Little Horn and John's Beast of Revelation 13.

These denominations vary from simply not accepting the Pope's claim to authority as legitimate and valid, to believing that the Pope is the Antichrist from 1 John 2: 18, the Man of Sin from 2 Thessalonians 2: 3-12, and the Beast out of the Earth from Revelation 13: 11-18.

It was perhaps this altar, believed to be dedicated to Zeus, that John of Patmos referred to as " Satan's Throne " in his Book of Revelation ( Revelation 2: 13 ).

A preterist discussion of the Tribulation has its focus on the Gospels, in particular the prophetic passages in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21, the Olivet discourse, rather than on the Apocalypse or Book of Revelation.

Posttribulationists argue that the seventh trumpet mentioned in Revelation is also the last trumpet mentioned in 1 Corinthians 15: 52, and that there is a strong correlation between the events mentioned in Isaiah 27: 13, Matthew 24: 29-31, and 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-thus creating a strong parallel, proving that the rapture occurs after the tribulation.

A preterist discussion of the Tribulation has its focus on the Gospels, in particular the prophetic passages in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21, rather than on the Apocalypse or Book of Revelation.

The Historicist view applies Tribulation to the period known as " persecution of the saints " ( Daniel 7, Revelation 13 ).
