Rabbi David Nieto ( 1654 – 1728 ) was the haham of the Spanish and Portuguese Jewish community in London.
Most of its authors were for Copernicus, although David Nieto and Tobias Cohn were exceptions.
In 1698 Rabbi David Nieto took spiritual charge of a congregation of Spanish and Portuguese Jews ( also called Sephardim ) who met in a small synagogue in Creechurch Lane.
