* Midland Group, a Russian construction team, owners of Midland F1

Midland F1 Racing ( often shortened to MF1 Racing ) was a Formula One constructor and racing team.

In Series 1, Episode 3 of the US TV show Suits, a Midland F1 car appeared on a stand in one of the main scenes.

Toyota's supply of customer engines was moved from the Midland F1 team to British former constructors ' champions Williams who had, by their own standards, underperformed with Cosworth engines during 2006.

They also powered Jordan in 2005, and when the team changed their name to Midland F1 in 2006, Toyota continued to supply engines to them.

This deal carried through to 2006, when the team was renamed Midland F1 and then Spyker F1.

In career mode, the player begins their career with either Super Aguri, Toro Rosso or Midland F1.

Under the name Midland F1 Racing, the team made its debut with a brand-new car and livery at the start of the 2006 Formula One season.

Midland Group, financed by wealthy Russian-Canadian businessman Alex Schnaider, bought Jordan Grand Prix in early 2005, and the team was subsequently renamed MF1 Racing for.

Based in Hall's hometown of Midland, Texas, during the 1960s, in the United States Road Racing Championship, and later in the CanAm, Chaparral cars were the most innovative cars in racing.

Formula Junior car for the Midland Racing Partnership, winning a long race on the Phoenix Park circuit in Dublin on July 22, and the Dunboyne Trophy on July 29.

In 1922 Bidlake formed the Road Racing Council – membership of which was restricted to members of the North Road, Bath Road, Anfield, Polytechnic, Kingsdale, Etna, Anerley, North London, Century, Unity and Midland cycling clubs.

Two of these railroad lines are now operated by CSX Transportation ; the former WM main line is now operated by Maryland Midland Railway.

The following year saw local services on the Midland Railway route to Gloucester withdrawn and the former Midland route to via was closed on 7 March 1966. and on the line towards Bath survived until 5 January 1970.

* Ernest Angelo, oilman, former mayor of Midland, and Republican politician

* Warren Chisum, an ally of fellow Republican former Speaker Tom Craddick of Midland, represents Pampa in the Texas House of Representatives and is a 2012 candidate for the Railroad Commission of Texas.

It is part of the former Midland Railway route from Skipton to Ilkley ( which was closed down by British Railways in 1965 14 years earlier ).

From May 2003 until September 2004 Midland Mainline operated an hourly service between St Pancras and Manchester Piccadilly at the request of the Strategic Rail Authority whilst the West Coast Main Line between London Euston and Manchester underwent engineering work using former Virgin CrossCountry High Speed Trains.

* Snow Hill tunnel, south of Farringdon station, was reopened for passenger use in 1988, providing a link between the Midland Main Line, from St Pancras station, and the former Southern Railway, via London Bridge station.

* The former line from Snow Hill to Wolverhampton has been reopened as the Midland Metro tram system.

Long-distance trains from Marylebone began to be scaled back from 1958 after their transfer from BR's Eastern Region to the London Midland Region ( although Marylebone itself, and the first few miles of its route, had belonged to the Western Region since 1950 ), as the former Great Central Main Line was regarded as a duplicate of the Midland Main Line.

The Permian Basin Petroleum Museum houses a collection of race cars designed by Jim Hall, a long time Midland resident who pioneered the use of aerodynamic downforce in the design of Formula One cars.

The Midland Group's interest in Formula One involvement began in 2004 when they confirmed their plans to have a team to race in place for the 2006 season.

Shnaider had been insistent that Midland intended to field Formula One's first Russian driver-although Russian drivers had tested in the past, mainly for the Minardi team, none had ever raced in a Grand Prix-but instead signed Dutchman Christijan Albers from Minardi, and retained Portuguese driver Tiago Monteiro.

In October 2004, the Midland Group announced their intention to enter Formula One motor racing in 2006.

One of the early department stores operated by J. R. Poland dispensed news and advertised items in a small news sheet known as the Midland News.

Doctors was first shown on BBC One on 26 March 2000 with an episode entitled " Letting Go ", Dr. Brendan McGuire is introduced as the head partner at a general practice, The Riverside Surgery, in the Midland town of Letherbridge with his wife Kate ( Maggie Cronin ) as Office Manager and a team of young doctors ; Dr. Steve Rawlings ( Mark Frost ), Dr. Helen Thompson ( Corrine Wicks ), Dr. Rana Mistry ( Akbar Kurtha ) and Dr. Caroline Powers ( Jacqueline Leonard ).

Beeston is also home to several well established football clubs, including Beeston Amateur Football Club ( Beeston AFC ), who have two mens Saturday sides that play in the Nottinghamshire Senior League and the Midland Amateur Alliance respectively and Beeston Town FC who play their home games at Highfields and compete in Division One of the Long Eaton Sunday League.

One example of an oligopsony in the world economy is cocoa, where three firms ( Cargill, Archer Daniels Midland, and Callebaut ) buy the vast majority of world cocoa bean production, mostly from small farmers in third-world countries.

They currently play in the non-league Midland Alliance and made history in the 2010-11 football season by reaching the FA Cup first round proper for the first time in their history, earning a trip to Carlisle United, the League One ( third highest English division ) club.

One more Libyan formation ventured out into the Gulf towards the US forces later that day .. Fast Eagle 102 ( BuNo 160403 ) is presently stored at the Commemorative Air Force Headquarters in Midland, Texas awaiting restoration.

One such railway was the former Midland Railway line between central Bristol and Bath, closed in favour of the more direct, former Great Western Railway between the cities.

One year later, the merged company became the largest constituent of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway.

City's promotion to Division One in 1996 meant that chairman Geoffrey Richmond announced the construction of a 4, 500 seater stand on the Midland Road side.

* Southern League Division One Midland

The Swifts were relegated to the Midland Alliance in 2012 from the Southern League Division One West and currently play at Walshes Meadow in the town.

Their relegation to the Southern League Premier Division in 1996 – 97 was followed by relegation to Division One West in 1998 – 99 and then to the Midland Football Alliance in 2000 – 01.

One was operated by the Midland Railway, in Baldwin City, Kansas but has since been sold and may become part of a future museum in Manly, Iowa or possibly be restored to operation.

Midland Metro Line One, is owned by Centro and run under concession by Travel Midland Metro.

The new club was admitted into the Central Alliance North Division One in 1959, and within two seasons entered the Midland Counties League.

The newly constituted club, playing on a new ground on North Street provided by the local council, was admitted directly to the Central Alliance Division One ( North ) and progressed sufficiently in the first two seasons to gain entry to the re-formed Midland Counties League.

One early case was Cooke v Midland Great Western Railway of Ireland AC 229, in which Lord Macnaughton felt that children who were hurt whilst looking for berries on a building site, should have some compensation for their unfortunate curiosity.
