National Vocational Qualifications ( NVQs ) are work based awards in England, Wales and Northern Ireland that are achieved through assessment and training.

NVQs are not formally defined in terms of equivalence to conventional academic qualifications.

Both Graduateship ( GCGI ) and Associateship ( ACGI ) are at level six of the National Qualifications Framework, compared by OFQUAL to the highest category NVQs of level 4.

The qualifications offered are BTEC introductory, first and national qualifications, NVQs, Technical awards and certificates.

Here, a range of full-time courses such as AS / A Levels, BTEC National Diplomas and NVQs are on offer to potential students.

Membership ( MCGI ) is placed on NQF level 7, and Fellowship ( FCGI ) on level 8, compared by OFQUAL to NVQs of level 5.

They also offer a wide range of training courses for building professionals including construction related National Vocational Qualifications NVQs.

This ranges from short skills workshops, through to NVQs, BTEC, Higher National Diplomas and apprenticeships.
